Individual Lemon Tarts (Serves 2)


In France it is said you can judge the quality of a baker by the quality of their lemon tart. So no pressure then.

A classic French tarte au citron, finished with a dusting of icing sugar. Luckily for us, it’s ridiculously good.

Wheat Flour, Whole Pasteurised Egg, Caster Sugar, Whipping Cream [Milk], Lemon Juice (11%), Butter [Milk], Margarine, Free Range Pasteurised Egg Yolk, Sweet Snow, Lemon Rind.

Wheat Flour contains: Calcium Carbonate, Ascorbic Acid. Margarine contains: Vegetable Oils (Palm Oil & Rapeseed Oil), Water, Salt, Emulsifier: Mono and di-glycerides of Fatty Acids, Natural Colourings: Annatto, Curcumin and Natural Flavouring. Egg Yolk contains: Citric Acid and Postassium Sorbate. Sweet Snow contains: Dextrose, Cornflour, Vegetable Oil (Palm).

Cooking Instructions


FOR BEST RESULTS DEFROST IN THE FRIDGE AND EAT AS SOON AS YOU CAN. SERVE CHILLED. 1. It is very important to remove the dessert from all packaging and place on a serving dish whilst it’s still frozen. You’ll find it much easier to handle. 2. Defrost for 2 hours at room temperature or 4-5 hours in the fridge. 3. Eat as soon as possible once thawed. In the unlikely event of there being any leftovers, keep in the fridge and eat within 48 hours.
