Mixed Case House Wine

6 bottles of hand selected wine from across the vineyards of France. 2 red, 2 white and 2 rosé. It maybe house wine, but it’s a very nice house with a swimming pool, a few king size beds, a sauna and a garden.

We had deep discussions late into the night with our wine suppliers in order to bring you the finest, greatest tasting wines possible. All for a good price. This is an introduction to our more accessible wines.

So what will you be drinking?

Chemin des Pins Sauvignon Blanc × 2

Sometimes you just want a light, crisp white to drink. No fancy wine terminology, no meandering descriptions, just a house wine which tastes nice.

This wine is more than nice. It’s fresh and crisp and demands another glass. You’ll find all the classic Sauvignon characteristics of lemon, lime and green grass, but there are hints of slightly riper fruit… Sorry, no meandering descriptions.

It goes great with fish, curries, pies, tartiflette and crisps.

Monastier Shiraz × 2

Extremely popular lightly oaked Shiraz (or Syrah) from the South of France. Our house red is the embodiment of affordable yet highly appreciated wine.

This is modern, fruity and full-bodied in style—it has a nose brimming with ripe plum and damson fruits that leads to a vibrant, rich palate. This wine is delicious with duck, venison, beef or lamb.

Grenache Pasquires Rosé × 2

A beautifully fresh, dry rose from the Languedoc, showing notes of red fruits and rose petals.

A great blend showing the abundant rich berry flavours of Grenache and a generous serving of Cinsault to give that spicy kick.

This wine accompanies a multitude of dishes including our Thai range and amazing desserts such as our chocolate orange bread and butter pudding or the raspberry pavlova.
